Job SummaryThe Switchboard Operator facilitates all telecommunications within the hospital. Receives and directs incoming calls to the appropriate party in a timely manner.Minimum Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensure/ Certification None. Experience At least one year of experience in a hospital environment preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Clear speaking voice. • Ability to speak, read, write and communicate effectively in English. • Proficient with MS Office and able to learn new software rapidly.
