Duties and ResponsibilitiesInterior and exterior painting; commercial/industrial applications, applying special finishes.Prepares surfaces by sandblasting; scraping; using commercial paint removers; filling cracks and holes; sanding.Spray foam insulating, carry out other tasks where reasonableand relevant, when required.Maintains safe work procedures by erecting scaffolds, ladders, and safety barriers in accordance to prescribed protocols.Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; knowledge of basic painting supplies and equipment.QualificationsHigh School DiplomaSafety - Safety is our top priority. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Able to climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 100lbs.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
