Job Description :
Duties & Responsibilities• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a strong Christian witness in all interactions with youth, staff, donors, volunteers, and the general public so as to uphold Black Mountain Home's mission of Glorifying God by caring for children, youth, and families.• Commit to pray regularly for the youth, staff, and ministry.• Attend staff meetings which include participation in a time of Christian devotion and prayer. Review minutes and sign off for missed meetings to stay aware of ministry updates.• Assist with answering the main phone line and greeting guests.• Assist with financial data entry related to deposits and county billing under the supervision of the VP of Finance until additional Finance staff is hired and trained.• Serve as a member of the CQI Committee by updating the Departmental Improvement Plans tracking spreadsheet before each meeting and taking minutes at each meeting.• Serve as the backup for updating the ministry's community calendar as needed.• Assist the VP of Programs with general administrative tasks and special projects that are related to the areas he/she supervises as requested.• Assist the leadership staff under the VP of Programs' immediate supervision with administrative tasks as needed. This includes the Director of Intake and Youth Services; Director of Community Programs, Training, and CQI; Director of Foster Care and Adoptions; Director of Recreation; and Culinary Arts Coordinator.• Assist with taking meeting minutes as needed.• Help with meeting setup and cleanup as requested.• Complete and assist with other projects as requested.RequirementsMinimum Qualifications• Associate degree from a two-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel.• Quick and consistent data entry input.• Excellent writing skills to include the ability to write business letters and other documents with correct business format, grammar, and punctuation.• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Desired Qualifications• Experience with Microsoft365 including familiarity with included apps.Responsible to: VP of Programs
