Shift: M-F 5am-1:30pmPay Rate: $17.28 per hour Responsibilities: The Chicken Processor will be responsible for efficiently and safely processing chicken products according to company standards and guidelines. This role plays a vitalpart in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our poultry products as they move through the processing line. Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneKey Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks in the chicken processing line, including but not limited to: sorting, cutting, deboning, trimming, and packaging chicken products.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure proper handling, preparation, and processing of chicken products.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper sanitation and disinfection of equipment and workspaces.
- Operate machinery and equipment, such as cutting tools and packaging machines, safely and efficiently.
- Inspect chicken products for quality, identifying any defects or issues, and removing substandard items from the processing line.
- Monitor and adjust processing equipment settings as needed to ensure optimal product quality and production efficiency.
- Package processed chicken products according to company specifications, ensuring accurate labeling and portioning.
- Adhere to production schedules and quotas to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and efficient production process.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or product quality issues to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and new processing techniques.
- Work closely with HACCP and USDA to comply with all state and federal rules and regulations for poultry processing.
- Execute daily operations instruct by USDA for processing of poultry and inspections
Education - High school diploma preferred not required. Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods of time.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety guidelines and protocols.
Physical Demands/ Equipment:
- Independently lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs rarely
- Able to stand, walk, bend, squat on a frequent basis while on or off loading
- Able to grasp, reach, push or pull (such as boxes of product, or a hand truck) on a frequent basis
- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit
- May be exposed to dust, feathers, and all chemicals used in poultry processing facility
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
- Able to stand for several hours
- Ability to occasionally work in a noisy warehouse environment
- Able to work while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the job (such as steel-toe protective footwear, harness, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, insulated clothing, etc)
- Ability to handle and physically be near products which may contain food allergens (such as fish, shellfish, peanuts, etc.)
