DescriptionPOSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARYJob Title: Fabricator I (Cast Polymers)Department: Solid Surface FabricationReports to: Solid Surface Division Manager FLSA Status: Full Time - Non-ExemptPrepared/Updated: July 2024SUMMARYResponsible for operating cast polymer saws and routers to perform standard cast polymer fabrication work; produces cast polymer trim parts; inspects fabricated pieces to ensure they conform to quality standards.Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
  • Operates cast polymer saws and routers
  • Performs daily operator maintenance on assigned equipment and maintains records of that maintenance
  • Measures and inspects parts during processing and finishing to ensure they meet Order Specification within accepted tolerances
  • ified by Division Manager or Plant Manager)
  • Performs standard fabrication work including but not limited to: finished part assembly, trim preparation and assembly, edge preparation, mounting of sink bowls, location of cutouts, and shower base assembly
  • Prepares fabricated parts for shipment and/or installation including final inspection; applies proper labeling to all produced parts
