Job Description :
Deployed Services serves as a dedicated strategic partner to government and other clients. The Maintenance Specialist will perform routine mechanical equipment and utilities maintenance, minor construction and demolition services, plumbing, structural and electrical repairs, and emergency repairs as needed. Essential Functions:
  • Perform general maintenance functions for electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
  • Perform general maintenance functions for temporary facilities, buildings, and tented structures to include carpentry or similar repairs
  • Install all above systems under guidance of licensed or trained supervisors
  • Operate site equipment to include but not limited to work carts and yard maintenance equipment
  • Repair company equipment as needed to maintain serviceable condition
  • Coordinate service calls when required
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficient Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of common tools, parts and mechanical materials
  • Ability to read and interpret owner's manuals, equipment schematics and work orders
  • General knowledge of safe working practices
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks daily and heavy lifting
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
  • Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in a maintenance position, to include some of the following:
    • Electrical
    • Plumbing
    • Welding
    • Carpentry
    • HVAC
  • Trade school certification relevant to the position; preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
