Grow your HSE career with REAL ALLOY! With a strong committment to safety, REAL ALLOY is looking to build our HSE team at our Coldwater, Michigan facilities.

We are looking for the right person to take our strong HSE program to the next level. The ideal HSE Specialist candidate is an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Professional who can manage all aspects of employee health and safety and site environmental compliance and continuous improvement to advance Real Alloy HSE programs, processes and systems.

You will:

  • Lead activities that drive site/company safety and environmental performance to higher levels (based on benchmarking)
  • Focus on improvements that will increase the level of adherence and compliance to Real Alloy HSE objectives
  • Partner with our HSE Leadership to advance all Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives

Qualifications:

HSE Specialist

  • Bachelors degree in safety, environmental or equivalent major.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an HSE role with demonstrated understanding of related principles and regulations.
  • Strong persuasion and motivation skills as well as the ability to work across all disciplines and employee levels.
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal. Ability to accurately write reports, communicate verbally with employees, provide constructive feedback and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and walk the plant floor on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work variable hours, be on call and travel occasionally (
