Responsibilities:
The Department of Radiology at the University of South Alabama {USA) in Mobile, AL, is currently recruiting for a part time Diagnostic Radiologist with a fellowship in Body Imaging. The Department of Radiology serves USA Health University Hospital, USA Health Children's and Women's Hospital, and the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute.
The successful candidate must have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in body imaging. Candidates who have a willingness and experience in other specialty areas {i.e., Neuroradiology, MSK Radiology, Breast imaging, etc.) would be beneficial. Performing and/or supervising adult fluoroscopy exams is also required. A license to practice medicine in Alabama is mandatory.
Responsibilities include providing primary diagnostic and consultative service in imaging for exams performed at multiple locations, instruction of medical students and residents in diagnostic radiology, and the pursuit of academic interests and research. This position carries a faculty appointment at the University of South Alabama at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
