• Develop and implement innovative welding procedures and methods, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and production personnel, addressing and resolving welding-related issues.
• Maintain and manage welder qualifications, certifications, and welding procedure documentation.
• Coordinate certification requirements for pressure equipment and support laboratory testing requisitions.

Required Qualifications:

• Welding School (vocational, military, or community college).
• Hands-on experience with industry standards, including ASME and AWS.
• Knowledge of the strength of materials and basic engineering calculations.
• Basic understanding of welding metallurgy and heat treatment processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Certifications such as AWS CWI, CWEng, SCWI, or equivalent CWB certifications.
• Familiarity with API standards, including 510, 570, and 653.
