Overview:

Position SummaryThe Training Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, delivering, and assessing live classroom sessions for various teams within the organization for both in-person & remote employees.

Responsibilities:

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Training Program Development:
    • Develop, coordinate, and deliver live classroom training sessions to both in-person and remote participants.
    • Identify training needs through job analysis, appraisals, and consultations with HR and managers.
    • Develop training courses, strategies, and initiatives based on data and research.
  • Training Delivery:
    • Lead training sessions, instruct employee training and onboarding, and conduct training through new materials.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other Instructional Design team members and multiple subject matter experts to determine appropriate course content.
  • Training Assessment:
    • Assess the training's impact, monitor clients' progress, and provide updates on goals and achievements.
  • Learner Support:
    • Provide one-on-one mentorship, specific feedback, and continuous improvement based on learner feedback and best practices.
  • Learning Environment Management:
    • Coordinate the ongoing scheduling and completion of multiple courses spanning across the organization.
    • Ensure the learning environment is safe, secure, and welcoming.
    • Manage attendee registration from end-to-end.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in instructional design, education, learning and development, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years experience and demonstrated expertise in all facets of training including content creation, classroom facilitation, & assessment methodologies.

Preferred:

  • Experience in training within the healthcare/durable medical equipment industry.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel (filters, pivot tables, graphing) and PowerPoint (graphics, animations)
  • Strong classroom management skills in an adult learning environment.
  • Familiar with several courseware platforms, including Camtasia, Canva, & Articulate Storyline/Rise.
  • Experience utilizing various models of learning assessment.
  • Thrive in a fast paced, continuously changing environment by balancing multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, persuasive) across all levels of the organization

Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.:$52,500 - $73,500Additional benefits::exempt - Our total compensation package includes medical, dental and vision benefits, retirement benefits, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, parental leave, family medical leave, volunteer time off and additional leave programs, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits and discounts.
