The Pick Packer position is an advanced position within the Operations department. In this role, you will be responsible for packing customer orders, internal material transfers and vendor claims in accordance with established procedures, work instructions and customer-specific requirements. Your depth of previous experience in this occupation carries with it an expectation that you will be able to perform all duties listed below with a high level of production, accuracy and efficiency. - Schedule: M-F 9:30am-6pm
- Pay Rate: $17/hr

Pick Packer Job Description:
- Perform final quality check to verify that the orders / transfers / vendor claims provided to packing area are 100% accurate per the order requirements.
- Input data-entry to accurately document the items and quantities included in each packing transaction.
- Prepare and package all outbound orders carefully to ensure that the merchandise is sufficiently protected from in-transit loss or damage.
- Apply packaging labels / attach packing lists and stage completed orders for shipment manifest
- Operate forklift and pallet jack as needed
Job Requirements for Pick Packer:
- Minimum educational requirement: High school graduate, or equivalency, with the ability to read and write in English and perform basic math calculations
- Minimum experience requirement: Five, or more, years in a similar position / parallel working environment utilizing a handheld barcode scanner and desktop PC applications
- Ability to safely operate a pallet jack, tape machine, and other ordinary tools essential to perform the job
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and bend / reach overhead
