Overview:

The Ops Support Manager is responsible for creating, implementing, and supporting NFI Transportations systems and processes, both internal and external, while enforcing data integrity in all information systems. The goal is to help meet all business requirements, develop KPI reporting, and provide value-add efficiencies to our operations. The role is also responsible for creating documentation to support these systems, functions, and processes, and for implementing effective training and training methods throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Training personnel on TMW Suite, BI Portal, Equipment Tracking/Routing Software, and various other NFI systems and supporting processes;
  • New dedicated fleet start-up support; creating project plans; reporting and meeting planning; client interaction
  • Driver PeopleNet/PHOS training
  • Creating and maintaining systems and process documentation / defining office processes;
  • Troubleshooting basic system issues;
  • Ad-hoc reporting;
  • Routine data maintenance;

Job Related & Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel +75% with extended stays;
  • Strong interpersonal and intercommunication skills.
  • Ability to interact and present to individuals at all organizational levels;
  • Exceptional organization skills;
  • Must be proactive and able to work independently;
  • Lifting moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals; Ability to get in/out/on/off of trucks and trailers;
Qualifications:

Experience, Education, and Training:

  • 1-2 years transportation experience, preferably in a dedicated contract carriage or private fleet environment;
  • BS in Supply Chain or Logistics strongly desired;
  • TMS experience strongly desired.
  • Transportation operational knowledge; CSA, FMCSR, DOT & Hours-of-Service knowledge;
