Job Description- Work Schedule: Must work Monday and/or Friday each week - Shifts: 2 8-hour shifts, 2 12-hour shifts, 5 8-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, 4 10-hour shifts (considering 4 8-hour shifts)- Hospital Information: 609-bed metropolitan hospital serving the Raleigh, NC community- Anesthesia Department: Composed of approximately 30 anesthesiologists, 70 CRNAs, and 40 Anesthesia Techs- Practice Model: Care team model (medical direction) in a collegial atmosphere- Patient Care: 25 subspecialties including General, Ortho, Neuro, EP, Vascular, Thoracic, Cardiac (open heart), Bariatrics, Endoscopy, OB, Ophthalmology, and limited Pediatrics- Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required- Responsibilities: Obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia- Requirements: Current license as a registered nurse, graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia, certified or recertified by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)- Privileging Timeframe: Estimated 30 days- Start Date: 11/1/2023- Hours: 40-hours/week- Call: In House Call Preferred, Weeknight On Call (Pager) Preferred, Weekend On Call (Pager) Preferred- Overtime: Expected- Case Type(s): General- Supervision: MDs supervising CRNAs, CRNA to MD ratio 3 to 1, MDs doing their own cases- Anesthesia Rooms: 48- Charting System: Epic- Shift Type: 12-hour shifts- State License: Candidates must already have state license- Duration of Assignment: OngoingRequirementsNC LicenseACLSPALSNBCRNA
