About the role

Within the Facilities department, this position is responsible for the overall janitorial duties of the facility during work hours. This role provides the opportunity to work within the Network Solutions Business Unit of Leviton Manufacturing Company Inc.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping
• Cleaning
• Mopping
• Vacuuming
• Trash removal
• Polishing
• Inventory janitorial and kitchen supplies
• Balances inventory between janitorial closets Inspects assigned areas and cleans as needed
• Inspects exterior landscape and cleans as needed
• Inspects and cleans interior and exterior of company vehicles
• Applies proper methods of cleaning to various tasks
• Replaces supplies
• Assists Maintenance Mechanics as needed
• Additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum one year experience in a custodian/janitor position required
• Fork Lift Certification a plus
• Bloodborne Pathogen Certification is preferred
• Ability to multi-task a variety of responsibilities and duties
• Ability to provide good customer service to the employees
