Position Title: Delivery Driver/Catering Delivery

Overview: Smokin Jack's BBQ is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that orders are delivered promptly and accurately to customers. You will be an essential part of maintaining our commitment to quality food and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities: - Timely Delivery: Deliver orders to customers in a safe and timely manner, ensuring food arrives in perfect condition.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service at all delivery points, greeting customers with a friendly attitude and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Order Accuracy: Verify the contents of orders before leaving the restaurant to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Delivery Records: Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts and any payments made.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that the delivery vehicle is in good working condition, clean, and maintained regularly.
- Cash Handling: Collect payments (when necessary) and ensure accurate reconciliation at the end of the shift.
- Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all traffic laws and safe driving guidelines, as well as company procedures for food safety and hygiene.
- Support Team Operations: Assist in other duties such as packing delivery orders, setting up deliveries, and general restaurant tasks as needed.
Qualifications: - Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of Delivery Area: Familiarity with the local area to ensure quick and efficient delivery.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry food containers and packages, and handle extended periods of driving.
Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience in food delivery or courier services is preferred.
- Familiarity with using delivery apps or GPS for navigation.

- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required based on business needs.
Pay:- Hourly wage plus tips.
