Job DetailsJob Location NIA Main Office - Brooklyn, NY Position Type Full Time Salary Range $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary Description The Data Specialist will work collaboratively with all organization departments to collect and package data on NIA program performance and impact. Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys with program participants, parents, partners, and staff to assess program success, participant progress, and employee experience.
- Collect and compile data regarding service levels, attendance, and impact across programs.
- Compile demographic data for company and populations served.
- Develop surveys, questionnaires, and other data collection methods.
- Provide data as needed for funding reports and applications, organization annual reports, executive and board summaries, and to support organization policy and professional development decisions.
- Assist as needed with the collection and submission of monthly reports due to funder.
- Perform ongoing review of all program funder databases, including DYCD Connect, Youth Services, EZ Reports, OCFS Prevention.
- Track results of funder program assessments and provide an annual summary to executive team of how many programs performed at, above, or below funder standards.
- Compile, summarize, and package data in professional reports.
- Highlight areas of concern, including potential service quality concerns, gaps in data entry, or drops in rate of participation.
- Any related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics or a related subject
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage projects on a timeline
- Computer literacy: Excel, Word, and experience with on-line research and resources required.
- Must be well versed in or able to research effective methods of surveying and assessment.
