  • A High School Diploma or the equivalent in relevant work experience.
  • Intrinsic motivation to be results oriented.
  • Must be a true team player; personable, professional, flexible, have a high level of integrity.
  • Attention to detail that will impact profitability.
  • Ability to manage time through multi-tasking and managing several projects at once. Must be flexible and work well under pressure and easily adapt to change.
  • Possess the strength and endurance to stand and walk for a full scheduled shift, and consistently lift approximately 75lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, lift, kneel and climb a ladder while lifting approximately 50 lbs.
  • Must have transportation to and from work. A valid driver's license is preferred.
  • Entail strong communications, along with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • High levels of personal accountability; an ability to be responsible for your own actions.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and ability to work independently, as well as in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong accountability in personal attendance (work scheduled hours, arrive on time, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES - HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE VISION include the following, but are not limited to:
  • Receive inventory and non-inventory items into the warehouse by sorting, stocking, organizing, and replenishing items appropriately based on a defined process and objectives set by the Receiving Specialist or the Inbound Operations Manager.
  • Read receiving documentation (e.g. Invoices, POs, packing lists, etc.) to determine items to be sorted and stocked.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of items received through a manual, visual, and/or digital checking process.
  • Assist with various receiving and inventory-related projects including but not limited to physical inventory counts, moving product locations, installing/modifying racking, etc.
  • Collect cardboard and utilize a compactor.
  • Load/unload delivery trucks and mail vans.
  • Use a computer to search inventory on-hand; assist Associates with locating product in the warehouse.
  • Utilize the company ERP to accurately post inbound product into our working inventory.
  • Operate receiving equipment, including pallet jacks, pallet stackers, and/or lift trucks; maintain a safe environment.
  • Assist with Multi-Location Inventory Management as directed by the Team Leaders or the Management Team.
  • Maintain Distribution Floor stock of certain supplies, including but not limited to boxes, void fill, tape, etc.
  • Assist associates with learning products and stock locations.
  • Use utility tools (e.g. knife to open boxes and remove box tops).
  • Engage in various activities within the distribution department as directed by the Team Leader(s), including but not limited to picking, packing, checking, wrapping, shipping, loading, and securing of shipments.
  • Pro-active and timely communication of concerns, issues, and ideas for improvement to the Team Leader.
  • Assist in any task requested by either the Team Leader or the Management Team.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Work as a team with all functional work areas.
INDICATORS OF PERFORMANCE
  • Inventory and Non-Inventory items are stocked accurately and timely, positively impacting fulfillment operations.
  • Continuous improvement of individual, team, and operational performance.
  • Harmony within the receiving team and inbound department.
  • Positive perception of support from co-workers, team leaders, customers, vendors, and/or suppliers.
  • Achieving identified goal for overall attendance.
IMPROVING THE SYSTEM All Fait Associates are responsible for documenting and fixing problems within the system. In addition, this role is responsible for improvement project participation, planning, communicating, and implementing solutions where possible. PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT Fait will provide resources and support, relevant to the position, for education and training as needed. It is the Associate's responsibility to seek approval, schedule and participate in education and/or training that will prepare him/her for present and future needs. A post training recap may be required.
