Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage valuation engagements for financial reporting, tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning.
- Develop and review complex financial models, including DCF analyses, OPM, market multiple analyses, and other valuation methodologies.
- Prepare and present detailed valuation reports to clients and stakeholders, providing expert financial analysis and insights.
- Analyze financial statements, transactions, and business records to identify discrepancies and potential issues.
- Support litigation processes by preparing valuation reports and providing expert testimony as needed.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing proposals and leading business development initiatives.
- Mentor and develop a team of valuation professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in business valuation, with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Certifications: One or more of the following professional certifications are highly desirable CVA, ABV, ASA, or similar
- Skills: Strong business development experience, forensic accounting, litigation support, and expert testimony experience are a plus.
- Attributes: Excellent analytical skills, ability to manage multiple projects, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and colleagues.
