Job Summary The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for the plant's customers so they will have a high level of customer service acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.This individual will have the ability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks, a desire to take charge, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Pay: $18 USD/hr Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls and filter those calls to the appropriate person
  • Plan luncheons and quarterly meetings
  • Create and post employee birthdays and service milestones on the company bulletin board
  • Assist pick-up customers
  • Create packing slips
  • Communicate customers to the team in the loading zone
  • Create and send tracking information for all UPS and carrier orders
  • Update and maintain tracking information spreadsheet
  • Creating and distribute product labels
  • Data Entry for Broker Load Progress
  • Provide Quotes
  • Manage recycling drop-offs
  • Maintain files and invoices
  • Enter raw materials and cycle time data for KPIs
  • Support with scheduling, billing
  • Enter data for EHS reporting in KPA system
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years' experience in an Administrative Assistant role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Event coordination experience
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced and highly available environment
