Summary Job Description:

The Senior Vice President of Long Island Programs (SVP) is responsible for the overall strategic and operational direction of Little Flower's Long Island programs. The SVP is part of the senior management team and works closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other senior executive staff to develop, implement and oversee the organization's programming and achieve its strategic goals.

Principal Responsibilities

* Enhance and implement the organizational vision as established in the organization's Strategic Plan

* Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence and demonstrate consistent quality of finance and administration

* Provide daily oversight and close management of Long Island programs, including a 45-bed Residential Treatment Center in Wading River, the Therapeutic Foster Care Program serving Nassau and Suffolk counties and community based programs for adults with developmental disabilities, as well as other programs as we expand.

* Have a regular physical presence in programs, ensure close oversight and high-quality service delivery

* Ensure revenue targets are achieved and program costs remain in budget

* Attract, develop, coach, and retain high-performance team members, empowering them to elevate their level of responsibility, span of control and performance

* Work with staff to develop systems to ensure consistent, high-quality program management

* Provide leadership in development of inter-team communication and cohesiveness, sustaining culture and supporting staff during organizational changes and growth.

* Expand revenue generating and fundraising activities to support existing programs and the growth of Little Flower's Long Island programs

* Cultivate existing relationships and develop new funder and partner relationships

* Manage relationships with oversight agencies, partner organizations and other key stakeholders

* Work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and goals, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Must be flexible and available to address after-hours emergencies and problem-solving.

* Be highly organized, have a strong understanding of people and project management, and be a creative team player.

Minimum Requirements:

* Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in a related field.

* Requires a minimum of five years progressive non-profit human services management experience with more than two years at management level. Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope of an administrative management or leadership position.

* Deep knowledge of non-profit operational and quality assurance practices for human services organizations.

Travel Requirements:

This role is based in Little Flower's Wading River Executive Office.
