The Order Fulfillment Specialist II is directly responsible for optimizing our fulfillment and customer delivery process on a daily basis. With a keen focus on the Customer Experience, this role initiates the shipping process and optimizes the use of on hand inventory. Working directly with their teammates in multiple geographies, the role will also monitor inventory health across distribution facilities, monitor customer & vendor agreements, identify opportunities to ship goods directly from manufacturing facilities, troubleshoot and resolve workflow issues to ensure customer requirements are met on an ongoing basis. *This is a weekend day shift Saturday - Monday at our facility in Janesville, Wisconsin MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
  • 3 years' relevant distribution or fulfillment experience with leading technologies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • In depth knowledge of end to end OTC business processes including areas such as Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Invoice Management and Inventory Segmentation and Management
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Leads the initiation of the shipping process across distribution facilities daily. Works cross functionally on error resolution to recover lost time, focus on meeting customer expectations
  • Utilize systems to monitor expected inbound inventory, expediting fulfillment where opportunities exist, managing customer expectations when issues are presented
  • Assists with the scheduling and routing of planned shipments, leveraging internal transportation software and external customer contact points
  • Manages and enables opportunities to ship manufactured products directly from manufacturing sites, reducing internal process time and compressing customer delivery times

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
