Linen Distribution Coordinator - Full Time - Days

Linen Distribution Coordinator will coordinate linen distribution and par levels with Seneca View Nursing Facility units, maintain established linen par levels and place orders for linen services. The Linen Distribution Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all nursing units have routine standard linen par levels maintained though operating the linen room functions and linen distributions throughout the facility.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Receives routine linen orders from the vendor, conducts inventory, places orders with the linen service provider, and reports issues with inventory or invoicing to the supervisor.

* Maintains the central storage room, ensures the linen room is neat and organized at the end of the shift, and cleans the linen room as needed.

* Delivers clean linen to nursing units, ensures exchange carts are delivered and returned to the central storage, and picks up and processes soiled linen.

* Constructs clean, organized carts to meet standard par levels and aligns/stages carts as needed.

* Opens and processes new linen for use.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Education: High School Diploma, GED

* Experience: previous ordering experience and inventory control experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull a wheeled cart of 650 pounds

* Ability to count and record inventory of terry/linen

* Must have excellent problem solving and customer service skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced health care environment

Location and Travel Requirements:

* Onsite - Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility - 220 Steuben St, Montour Falls, NY 14865

* Shift: (Mon-Fri) between the hours of 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay Range Disclosure

* $20.00 to 24.09 per hour
