Position Details: Title: Motor Winder Location: San Antonio, TX Shift: Monday - Friday - 6:00am - 4:30 - 6:00pm (depending on shop needs) Saturday 6:00am - 2:30pm Compensation: $30 - $40/hour (depending on experience) + overtime Benefits: Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life and Disability Insurance, as well as generous PTO and paid holidays. Travel: N/A Position Description - Motor Winder RAM Industrial, an ISS company is seeking a reliable Motor Winder to perform winding process of AC/DC motors ranging from 5hp up to 5,00hp. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include: --- Accurately read and record winding data from units being rewound. --- Wind AC, DC Fields, Armatures, wound rotors and equalizers. --- Install and or replace banding of an armature or rotor --- Perform stator core loss testing and record in technical traveler. --- Perform the restoration of stator irons as needed. --- Work with winding random, mush, synchronous, and form coils. --- Perform a battery of electrical tests. --- Dip and bake stators as required by the technical traveler. --- Utilize bake ovens to cure varnish treatments. Requirements: The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude with at least 2 years of experience perform winding process of AC/DC motors ranging from 5hp up to 5,00hp.
