We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Technologist to join a dynamic Surgical Pathology lab just miles from Upper Manhattan This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge laboratory environment with a focus on preparing pathological slides for diagnostic procedures. The selected candidate will enjoy a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Key Responsibilities: Operate tissue processors to create paraffin blocks for diagnosis. Embed and section pathology specimens using rotary microtomes. Perform routine and special staining (H&E, GMS, AFB, PAS) to identify tissues and organisms. Conduct enzyme histochemistry, including Leder esterase staining. Prepare solutions for histological processing. Assist with immunohistochemistry and handle pathology requests. File paraffin blocks and slides systematically. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a physical science, preferably in medical technology. Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from the New York State Department of Education Two years of hands-on experience in histological procedures.
