As a Shop Manager, you play a key role in keeping our job sites running every day. You will oversee all aspects of the shop including fabrication, production, cost management and quality control, as well as maintaining all vehicles, tools, and managing deliveries throughout the region.Do you like hands-on work motivating a team while prioritizing safety and efficiency? What We Ask of You:
  • Responsible for the coordination of all pipe, stainless steel, and sheet metal in the regional shops for fabrication assignment and staffing needs
  • Ensure all work is done in the safest manner possible to eliminate injury or accidents in the shops and in our vehicles.
  • Participate in turnover, pre-construction, and status meetings to understand projects and take full advantage of fabrication opportunities
  • Implementation of the most efficient processes and tooling in the shops to maximize productivity and accountability, including proper implementation and use of our Tool Tracking Program
  • Develop and implement master fabrication schedules
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Purchasing Team, and QA/QC on project needs including certifications, communications, and SOP requirements
  • Responsible for all shop deliveries including drivers including shop order accuracy and accountability
Experience & Competencies:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline is desirable, and or equivalent work
  • Field experience with a minimum of 10 years' experience in mechanical shop fabrication
  • Technical Certification (CWI, or equivalent) is preferable
  • Have a firm understanding of pipe and sheet metal, procurement, and assembly
  • Ability to work with labor unions & continually improve management relations & efficiencies
  • Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to represent the company in the most professional and positive manner

The estimated compensation range for this role is $70,000-$90,000. This range is based on several factors, including individual education, qualifications, training, prior work experience, and work location. John W.
