TH Daniels has partnered with an large food and beverage manufacturer who are currently looking for a Production Leader for one of their flagship facilities. This position will have clear progression into more senior manufacturing roles within 12-18 months.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team. They should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. You will immediately be responsible for a large capital modernization project and look at continuing to implement lean metrics across the Site.
Responsibilities
- Oversee plant operations such as budget, production schedule and stock
- Maintain clean and safe workplace
- Create and develop Continuous Improvement principles on the shop floor and within the future plans of the facility
- Analyze production costs and inventory to establish areas for improvements
- Ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies
- Examine processes and design plans to effectively use available resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant process improvement field.
- 6+ years of experience in field with a preference in food and beverage.
- Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations Strong communication, management and supervisory skills.
- Experience managing major capital projects is a plus.
