Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking an Assemblerin partnership with a prominent client in Binghamton, NY within the machining industry. AssemblerJob Summary Pay: $18.00 per hour1st Shift: Monday - Friday; 6am to 2:30pm 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday; 2:00pm - 10:30pm Assembler Responsibilities An assembler is responsible of the assembly of large and small complex parts from start to finish using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures and work instructionsPerform a variety of operations involving the manufacture of simple to complex mechanical metal assemblies and sub-assembliesEnsures quality requirements are verified and maintained using scales, calipers and micrometersUse of high level mechanical aptitude and competency in assembliesExperience with Riveting and Glue AssembliesConduct and perfect manufacturing caulking techniquesBuild to productivity and quality goalsAssemble components and finished goods to product specificationsAbility to interpret product diagrams/blueprintsDiagnose and troubleshoot defects and errors in mechanical componentsExecute root cause analysis and implement corrective actionAssembler Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma/GED2-4 years of industry experienceExperience in mechanical assembly preferred.Why you should apply....
