Apply today!Job Description The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a Radiological Controls Technician (RCT) to join our Radiological Monitoring team in West Milton, NY! The RCT is an integral team member performing surveillance of radiological work areas to detect and document the level and type of ionizing radiation/radioactivity in accordance with radiological control regulations. The RCT will perform and document air, water, solid, and surface radioactivity/radiation surveys using instruments designed to detect type and level of activity. The RCT also determines usage and maintenance of nuclear containment apparatus, and responds to radiological incidents to ensure employee and environmental safety.
