POSITION SUMMARY: The Shipping Coordinator is responsible to coordinate customer Purchase Orders into the Microsoft D365 system, confirm product availability, and confirm shipment of product to meet customer requirements to include routing in the customer systems. Experience working in Walmart, Amazon, Target, is helpful.In addition, it is the responsibility of the Shipping Coordinator to manage all the Bills of Ladings to include processing orders, relieving inventory out of D365 system, and creating and printing bills. RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to:
- Organize Purchase Orders and enter information into the customer routing sites
- Check product availability
- Communicate with Customer Service on issues that might raise customer concerns
- Print and organize load sheets
- Prepare the paperwork and labels for the picking process
- Coordinate pick up dates with the carriers
- Handle issues with carriers
- Determine freight charges
- Provide back up to the dispatcher and check in drivers
- Process Fed Ex shipments in the D365 system
- Provide backup to other Shipping Coordinators in the Department
- Other Duties as assigned
SKILLS:Candidates should possess the following skills/knowledge:
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- D365 experience preferred
- Warehouse management system experience
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent; related experience and/or training
- Minimum of six (6) months of proven shipping coordinator experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physically able to Twist/Turn/Bend/Reach/Push/Pull/Grasp/Squat Motions entire shift
