This hybrid role offers the unique blend of working collaboratively within our Carlsbad office and the flexibility of remote work.As the Customer Operations Specialist, you will be empowered to leverage your initiative and interpersonal skills by supporting the reverse logistics mechanism through Return Material Authorization (RMA) processing, providing repair and upgrade status, preparing shipping documents, validating and entering data, generating recurring reports and coordinating with third party service centers. Our Customer Operations team is an essential element in delivering goods and services to Viasat's customers across more than 60 countries worldwide. We directly engage with our customers and internal stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. Our close collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures customer orders move smoothly through the fulfillment cycle. Customer advocacy, teamwork, responsiveness, and analytical mindsets are attributes that make our team successful.The day-to-dayCommunicate with customers via various channels to facilitate the return of defective product to our warehouses.Connect with both customers and internal stakeholders to problem solve RMA related challenges and provide status updates and reporting.Complete Oracle transactions to reflect the movement of inventory from receipt of defective product through forward fulfillment of replacement spares.Leverage tools like Tableau and Salesforce to track part removals and replenishments.Reconcile inventory between Oracle and physical warehouses to maintain ERP system integrity.What you'll needBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience in ERP systems and/or database management systems Oracle/Salesforce experience.Experience with Microsoft Access and Visio.Proficient in compiling reports and analytics on program portfolio.Experience working with customers to provide solutions.Strong communication & interpersonal skills.Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.Experience with shipping/logistics (domestic and international).What will help you on the jobFamiliarity with engineering and manufacturing processes.Ability to work in an intense, fast paced environment.Salary range$29.47 - $51.3 / hourlyAt Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience.
