Multimedia Account Executive

The Idaho Press is seeking a Multimedia Account Executive to provide sales and marketing expertise to customers who can benefit from print and digital advertising opportunities. Your strong relationship-building skills will help you accomplish your goals and grow your account base. You will provide customized campaigns to assist customers using print and digital media that can positively impact their growth. You will use your project management expertise for ad creation, coordinating ad proofs and inputting creative for print and digital media. As a team member you will work with the management team for assistance with projects, media training, joint sales calls, and sales reviews. Success will come if you enjoy a fast-paced work environment, are creative, love to work with a great team and thrive on tight deadlines.

Prepare daily to complete customer follow-up calls, ad deadlines, special edition timelines and new customer calls. Review project management responsibilities, respond to customer inquiries, design ads, send out ad proofs, and complete ad quotes. Research past customer projects and reach out to customers to renew previous ad packages and to discuss new projects. Using CRM software to record all customer calls, updates, and current projects. Review special sections, promotions, and contests to share with customers. Complete tasks and customer call backs, review current projects for the next day. Review ad design progress, edit as needed, get customer approval, and meet ad timelines. Participate in sales meetings, learning opportunities and digital training. Attend local community events, activities, and celebrations.
