JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION Performs general repairs and maintenance to buildings and property. Completes preventative maintenance activities. Moves offices and furniture as needed. Completes scheduled inspections and maintains an accurate record of findings. Works in a rotation to cover after-hours emergency calls. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Construct, install, inspect and perform general repairs and maintenance to Centerstone buildings and properties.
- Complete regularly scheduled preventative maintenance activities.
- Move furniture and offices when needed.
- Complete regularly scheduled inspections of Centerstone vehicles and buildings.
- Maintain records of all inspections.
- Handle work orders timely, efficiently and courteously.
- Enter information into work order system timely.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
- Requires basic knowledge and ability to perform light construction, plumbing, electrical, building repair, painting and general maintenance.
- Must be able to operate personal computers using various software.
QUALIFICATIONS Education Level High School diploma or GED
Years of Experience Two - three years of general building maintenance, repair and light construction.
Certification/Licensure Must have a valid Indiana driver's license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Task Percentage of Time/Frequency Standing - 80% Sitting - 20% Squatting - occasional Driving - occasional Kneeling - occasional Lifting - occasional Bending - occasional
