CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: - DL-Valid Drivers License Class C Upon Hire
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: - Knowledge of all building components (i.e., boilers, fuels, piping systems, roof building structures, air conditioning systems, grounds etc.)
- Able to read, write, and speak the English Language.
- Develops through training program and then exhibits complete knowledge of the system, theory and procedures for repair and maintenance in one of the following areas: electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration, pressure vessel boiler, plumbing and carpentry.
- Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of electrical theory and procedures for repairing and maintaining the system.
- Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of air-conditioning, refrigeration and heating control systems, including air balance and system calibration procedures for repair and maintenance.
- Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and procedures for repair and maintenance.
- Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of procedures, materials and tools used in commercial building remodels and cabinet construction.
- Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of uniform electrical and building codes.
- Develops through training program and then exhibits considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the building and mechanical trades.
- Develops through training program and then exhibits through knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials used in the building trades.
- Develops through training program and then exhibits ability to inspect systems and buildings to detect existing or potential problems.
- Develops through training program and then exhibits ability to read and understand blueprints.
