Do you have an interest in sustainability and environmental services? EMR is one of the world's largest metal recycling companies, and we are looking for dedicated individuals like yourself, to grow our high performing team. As a Yard Support Associate, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the materials at our facility. Your position will help prevent hazardous materials from entering our processing stream, and also deliver exceptional customer service to our dedicated sellers. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the inspection of loads to ensure materials are free from debris such as concrete, dirt, trash, etc. Performs quality checks to prevent hazardous materials, such as propane tanks or gasoline tanks from entering stream for processing. Ensures customers do not leave the yard with any material not belonging to them. Directs traffic for all trucks in and out of the facility. Other job duties as assigned. What You Bring: Basic skills to handle day-to-day tasks efficiently. High attention to detail to catch even the smallest discrepancies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Thrive in a fast-paced environment where juggling multiple tasks is the norm.
