Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:30pm- 11:00pm Education/Prerequisite Requirements:

+ High School Diploma required; Associates degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

+ Basic First Aid.

Equipment/Training Knowledge:

+ Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA) is highly preferred.

+ Proven experience working in similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

+ Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft office platforms.

+ Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Work Specifications - Responsibilities:

+ Identify and communicate safety and health goals and objectives to all levels of the organization.

+ Provide support in the training and development of personnel on safety procedure and protocols.

+ Assist supervisors in the investigation of accidents and ensure proper documentation.

+ Provide recommendations to management regarding how to address any hazardous or potentially hazardous work environments.

+ Assist in conducting fire drills at least annually and ensure emergency preparedness.

+ Ensure that necessary safety equipment and devices for each job are available, used, and properly maintained.

+ Assist in maintaining security and access control throughout the facility.

+ Assist in Emergency Response Management and coordinate responses to emergencies effectively.

+ Respond to job-related medical emergencies and provide onsite treatment to sick or injured workers.

+ Recommend additional or specialized medical treatment when necessary and notify proper management.

+ Promote and maintain the health and wellness of workers through education and proactive measures.

+ Maintain current knowledge or industrial safety and medical best practices.

+ Perform other related duties assigned by management.
