Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading custom equipment fabricator in Durham, NC who is looking for a Metal Finisher/Shop Helper to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working 6:30am-5pm Monday-Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Perform metal finishing, polishing, and deburring of parts to meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
- Support CNC Machinists and Fabricators as needed.
- Ensure quality control and accuracy in all production processes.
- Perform general maintenance and help with shop upkeep.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop.
- Background in metal finishing, polishing, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn and support various shop tasks.
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
- Basic understanding of safety practices in a machine shop.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
