Overview: Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Floor Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining hard surfaces and carpeted areas within healthcare facilities, as well as ensuring a clean and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Performing floor maintenance tasks such as mopping, stripping, waxing, and shampooing
- Collecting and disposing of trash/recycling/laundry
- Utilizing proper protective gear and cleaning solutions to ensure safety and sanitation
- Providing positive and courteous interactions with residents and facility staff
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks
- Leadership skills to work independently without supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine tasks continuously
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
