Executive Director, Functional Genomics
What you will do
Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role, as Executive Director, Functional Genomics, you will lead Amgen's Functional Genomics group. We are seeking an accomplished Executive Director to lead our efforts in target discovery and characterization through functional genomics, including cutting edge genome manipulation tools, phenotypic screening, and multi-omics.
In this position you will lead a research team in the Research Technologies department focused on target discovery and biology, elucidating mechanism of action for therapeutics, phenotypic screening, biomarker discovery, and understanding resistance mechanisms. As a skilled organizational leader, this individual should be an efficient manager, a strong team builder and a collaborator who will provide robust organizational and scientific leadership consistent with Amgen's culture of innovation and teamwork.

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $271,118-$322,291.
If based in San Francisco, CA, the base salary range for this opportunity is $285,279 - $344,825.
