Gustave A. Larson is a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC, and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, parts, and supplies. The Larson Accounts Receivable Clerk ensures that the company's financial operations are accurate and efficient by verifying payments that come into the company and resolving discrepancies. Primary Responsibilities 1. Cash Posting. 2. Apply payments to customer accounts. 3. Reconcile accounts on a monthly basis. Investigate discrepancies, deductions of any unpaid items through customer, branch, or department contacts. 4. Answer phone calls from Company branches and customers. 5. Distribute statements and copies of invoices. 6. Process cash and back card transactions. 7. Reconcile bank statements. 8. Process ship direct billings. Skills/Qualifications •Commitment to excellent customer service. •Excellent communication skill, strong math skills. •Demonstrated ability to complete responsibilities efficiently and accurately. •Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and goal-oriented. •Thrives in a fast-paces environment. Effective Team Player, cooperates and interacts with all members of Gustave A. Larson Company. •Full-Time position, Monday through Friday. Education/Experience •High School Diploma or GED required. •Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, credit of financial field preferred. •Cash posting and Microsoft Excel experience required. •Proficient skills in MS Office Suite.
