Job Responsibilities/Tasks
Customer Experience
- Monitors and analyzes customer service provided by team members; develops action plans for improvement.
- Greets customers and offers assistance with products and services.
- Models and shares customer service best practices with team members.
- Resolves customer complaints and responds to special needs.
Operations
- Supervises store and pharmacy operations, including scheduling and task delegation.
- Manages store finances, including register counts and bookkeeping.
- Oversees merchandising and inventory management.
- Ensures compliance with laws and regulations.
- Maintains store cleanliness and manages repairs.
- Ensures staff is knowledgeable about technology systems.
- Completes special assignments as needed.
Daily Planning and Execution
- Assigns daily operational responsibilities and sets expectations for team members.
Business Performance Management
- Analyzes financial and performance data; develops action plans to increase sales and control costs.
- Reviews KPIs and asset protection data.
Business Planning
- Identifies sales opportunities to ensure growth and performance.
- Manages inventory levels effectively.
People and Performance Management
- Manages team member performance, sets goals, and provides feedback.
- Ensures timely completion of training programs.
- Makes hiring and disciplinary decisions.
- Promotes teamwork and motivates team members.
Training and Personal Development
- Participates in training to improve skills and productivity.
- Obtains pharmacy technician registration/licensure as required.
- Seeks self-development and best practices in retail and pharmacy.
Communications
- Acts as liaison between district, corporate, and store.
- Conducts community outreach and assists in planning events.

External Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
- Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state or pharmacy assistant in WA state.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- PTCB or ExCPT Certification.
- Three years retail management experience.
