We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Facility Services Assistant to join our Artesian Hotel and Spa Facility Services Unit 2 team located at the Artesian Hotel and Spa working .Summary:Performs any combination of cleaning tasks for assigned areas and facilities, including hospital, gaming, manufacturing and office environments, restrooms and corridors to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.Responsibilities:* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines and meets needs- Seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Observes and addresses potential environmental hazards and risks- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards- May provide break coverage for others as assigned- May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Cleans assigned area- Cleans and sweeps floors- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms- May empty ash trays- Disposes of trash- May clean exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks- Aligns seats close to machines in gaming areas* Sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums and performs basic cleaning and janitorial procedures* Dusts, polishes, and cleans furniture in common areas and other areas as requested* Cleans windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, baseboards, jambs, trim and walls, maintain sanitization of restrooms, empty and clean waste receptacles* Mixes various cleaning agents and use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces* Maintains equipment and materials used to fulfill tasks and replenish supplies and keep simple records of work performed and materials used* Uses safe and sanitary work practices when cleaning facilities and using cleaning chemicals* Performs all other duties as assignedCompetencies:Essential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management* Keeps written recordsSkills:Essential:* Vacuum cleaner, basic equipment, knowledge carpet care* Janitorial equipment and suppliesExperience:Essential:* No prior experience required.Education:Essential:* High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Essential:* Pass general background check* Standard Driver's License* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking Conditions:Essential:* Vibration* Commercial and residential vacuum* Potential exposure to biohazards* Potential exposure to cleaning fluids and solvents* Risk of electrical shock* Potential exposure to fumes* Pass pre-employment drug test* Gloves* Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach* Hand-eye coord, reach and grasp* Manual dexterity* Constantly lift and or carry up to 10 lbs* Frequently lift and or carry up to 25 lbs* Sometimes lift and or carry up to 50 lbs* Moderately strenuous work* Standing up to 100% of shift* Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception* Walking up to 100% of shiftNonessential:* May work where cigarette smoking occurs* May work in loud or noisy areas* Noisy* Moving mechanical parts* Sometimes work at heights
