**REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:**
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five years related experience.
**JOB DESCRIPTION:**
To provide analysis of high volume centralized scheduling center activities; to formulate recommendations designed to improve the operational effectiveness of the work area, increasing productivity and controlling costs; and to provide consulting support to management for program development and planning.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**
+ Contributes to the success of UTMB Managed Care Organization.
+ Conducts extensive analysis of departmental functions and procedures by using work simplification, organizational analysis, work measurement, staffing control and cost/benefit analysis.
+ Supervises the development and coordination of centralized scheduling center and scheduling personnel.
+ Oversees the preparation and documentation of recommendations and the implementation of new methods or systems that improve the operational effectiveness of the work area.
+ Creates and edits all departmental procedure manuals.
+ Monitors automatic call distributor system
+ Develops training program and staff development procedures.
+ Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.
+ Performs related duties as required.
**SALARY RANGE:**
Salary commensurate with experience.
