Hardware Installers are responsible for installing the necessary hardware for our drawers and doors. It is because of their creativity and ingenuity in creating new hardware installation processes that we are able to offer a more customized product to our customers.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:
- Read and comprehend order paperwork, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Use various hand tools (glue guns, screw guns, drills, wood routers, etc.)
- Ability to come up with new installation processes for special projects.
- Hinge Bore machine operation.
- Dedication to keeping a clean and well-stocked working environment.
- Cross-train in other areas during department downtime.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Assessing the accuracy, neatness, consistency, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Measuring skills on a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th of an inch.
- Basic mathematical understanding.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Prior woodworking or cabinetry experience is preferred but not required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ascending or descending ladders and stepstools on an occasional basis.
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments constantly.
- Remain standing in a stationary position for prolonged periods constantly.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one workstation to another constantly.
- Adjusting or moving objects of varying weights in all directions.
- Constant movement of objects up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional movement of objects up to 100 pounds or more with assistance.
- Constant repeated motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Constant operation of machinery and/or power tools as assigned.
- Occasional operation of motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Occasional exposure to high temperatures during summer months.
- Constant exposure to noisy environments.
- Exposure to hazardous materials, specifically chemical hazards in the form of paint thinners and solvents.
- Exposure to airborne particles, specifically sawdust.
JOB LOCATION:Sullivan, Illinois.PAY SCALE:$16.00 to $20.00 an hour.WORK SCHEDULE:Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. (40 hours a week).Mandatory overtime is determined on a day-to-day basis.EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS:
