QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree from accredited college or universityAt least one year of student teaching or approved internshipValid Texas certification with required endorsements for subject/level assignedGeneral knowledge of curriculum and instructionMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assignedPresent subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policy, and administrative regulationsShall cooperate with other staff members in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirementsCreate environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of studentsShall use technologies in the teaching/learning processShall keep informed of and comply with state, district, and school regulations and policiesMaintain professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents, and community membersSALARY:Commensurate with experienceTERM OF SERVICE:187 daysAPPLICATION DEADLINE:Open until filled
