The Bloomberg Query Language (BQL) is the nexus of this data access and distributed analytics. Through an intuitive workflow construction and querying language, BQL enhances our client's experience by unifying access to Bloomberg's external APIs and internal services. Bloomberg runs on data. Sitting at the core of Bloomberg's Data and Analytics Platform, the Bloomberg Query Language enables clients to access Bloomberg's data and perform sophisticated custom analytics. BQL is a widely used platform within Bloomberg with ever expanding use cases. We are looking for engineers, problem solvers, and agents of change to build the next generation of the BQL Platform with us. With this push, it is more important than ever to develop & maintain industry-best CI/CD. That's where you come in.
We'll trust you to: - Grok the BQL ecosystem and architecture quickly
- Elevate the CI/CD processes of our BQL Engines
- Accelerate the feedback loop between our engineers and code, enabling us to fail faster
- Engage other engineering teams to ensure your solving their problems
You'll need to have: - 4+ years working with an object-oriented programming language (C/C++, Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, Drone, Github Actions, etc.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies
- Passionate about code quality, testing and static analysis tooling, the campsite rule, and advocating for doing the right thing
- A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
We'd love to see: - Experience in a developer-facing role
- Experience releasing software at scale
- Exposure to Docker, Kafka, Maven, Jenkins, Kubernetes

Salary Range: 160,000 - 240,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
