Position Summary
Position: Global Supply Chain Co-op (Spring/Summer 2025)
Location: Seneca Falls, NY
Major: Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Systems or Business Administration
Academic Schedule: Spring/Summer 2025, full-time, 40 hours per week
Rate of pay: $25 to $35 depending on degree program
About the experience: Our ITT Goulds Pumps co-op candidates have the unique opportunity to work for one of the most recognizable pump brands in the world. They obtain experience in supply chain strategy development and execution that result in bottom line improvement of the organization. Our top Global Sourcing professionals will offer guidance and mentorship for each candidate, who will also get exposure to Engineering and other professionals.
Essential Responsibilities
You will help provide oversight for category-critical tasks, like business continuity planning, and supplier performance management, while working with the category manager to:
* Be the focal point for Indirect Services requests for the Industrial Process value center. Which includes requests from utilities, facilities, and HAR/MRO.
* Quoting parts, calling suppliers, and building relationship with stakeholders.
* Track spend/usage, analyze and propose improvements.
* Create and keep a sourcing list for indirect purchases up to date
* Help establish metrics to analyze and rank vendors within their respective product category.
* Identify value creation opportunities.

Position Requirements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college and pursuing a business related degree.
* Excellent ability to analyze, model and interpret large data with methodical and logical approach
* Excellent strategic and analytical thinking
* Effective organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, customers and partners
* Good knowledge/experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
