Qualifications / Required Skills
- Must be a graduate of a Trade/Vocational school with a certificate in Plumbing. Training must have been hands-on!
- 2 (TWO) years. minimum. experience working in the plumbing and heating industry
- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs, without straining
- Must possess basic proficiency with the following tools:
- Pipe threading with Rigid 300 machine
- Drills
- Tape measures (Must know how to get any measurement, down to 1/32nd )
- Pipe Wrenches
- Screwdrivers
- Hammers
- Adjustable Pliers (aka-Channel Lock, slip joint pliers, slip-groove pliers)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Swift and accurate execution of all tasks
- Willingness to learns and grow, professionally
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must work 1-2 Saturdays per month. (You will get a weekday off when working Saturday)
- Clean/Valid Driver's License required. Not currently suspended or revoked. Low/no points
The following is a plus, but not required
- Limited Gas Work Qualification certification from NYC Department Of Buildings
