Role and Responsibilities

  • As a technician you will be an integral part of operations by diagnosing, repairing, and providing planned maintenance on a range of commercial kitchen appliances including, but not limited to, cooking, refrigeration, dishwashing equipment, and/or HVAC
  • Occasional operation of heavy machinery
  • Frequently driving, backing up, and navigating trucks with various trailers
  • Manage and prioritize several projects simultaneously
  • Utilize basic hand and power tools to complete projects
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout the Puget Sound region
  • Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory
  • Utilizes ticketing system to communicate with Restaurant Manager and staff to keep them informed of estimated timelines for repair of equipment
  • Willing to be involved with emergency on-call rotation, including night and weekends
  • Other Building Maintenance including internal building, and grounds repairs.
Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC
  • Relevant training, licenses, or certifications preferred

Work Environment

  • Prolonged periods standing, walking, and working around kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be comfortable working long hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Noise level is usually moderate

Hourly rate $27 - $35 per hour
