MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSAbility to work 1st shift (7am-3:15pm)Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Excellent visual perception to ensure fine detail quality inspection.Full physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and job stations.The Inventory Control Clerk or Coordinator must have a high level of competence with other office computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Infor.At least 1 year of experience in a position that included material and inventory control, and shipping and receiving of materials and supplies in an industrial setting.Ability to simultaneously schedule and coordinate multiple tasks according to priority.RESPONSIBILITIESReceiving, documenting, and monitoring all aspects of sales orders and inventory control.Inventory accuracy, control, records and protection of goods in inventory.Communicating with the area supervisors on priorities.Responding in a timely fashion to inventory enquiriesMaintaining a 95% or higher on time order processing for all types of ordersStocking levels of KanBan and bench side productsRepresentation of the company with external contacts including customer relations and vendor relations.Accurately assigning serial numbers for sales orderFollowing all ATF and LMT requirements and processes for inventory control, lot-out, and processing.DUTIESOn-going communication with the Material Manager, Assembly Supervisor, Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, Quality Assurance, and Production Supervisors to ensure common understanding of immediate issues affecting throughput and the schedule.Accurately picking quantities and parts for all types of ordersWorks with shipping team to maintain a 95% on time to ship score.Conducting weekly and monthly inventory audits and working with the Material Supervisor to adjust levels as needed.Perform shipping and receiving operations if needed.Assists in training of new hires in department.Any other duties assigned.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matching after 1 year of employmentDental insuranceFlexible scheduleFlexible spending account (FSA)Medical insuranceHealth savings account (HSA)Life insurance - One annual year's salaryPaid time off (PTO) and Bonus time off (BTO)Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)Referral program- up to $500 total for each referralTuition reimbursement Vision insurance*LMT Defense is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
