Assistant, Payroll is responsible for supporting the payroll process by gathering an inputting data, computing wages and deductions, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll transactions.
We currently have 2 opportunities to join the Union Payment Processing Team!Your Day to Day: - Effectively communicate with the Union Reporting Manager, regarding all union transactions impacting WEC obligations.
- Assist with Monthly reporting and payments to unions
- Enter Union data into SAP
- Assist with preparation of audit files
- Obtain rate sheets for new unions and expiring unions
- Recommend and implement agreed process improvements.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Union Locals as needed
- Perform additional assignments, as directed by the management.
Who You Are: - Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Payroll Assistants need to have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. They should be able to interact well with clients and colleagues, work well in a team, and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Additionally, they should be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
